Congratulations to attorney Annie Day Bame
A true friend always unhesitatingly cheers their friends’ success. Even if that success means the friend must move on.
That’s the position all of us at Burnette Shutt and McDaniel find ourselves in today with attorney Annie Day Bame. Since joining us almost two years ago, she’s been an integral part of our litigation team. But sometimes an opportunity arises that you just can’t say “no” to.
Annie will begin a clerkship in a few weeks with senior U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Anderson. She previously clerked with former U.S. District Judge J. Michelle Childs, who’s now U.S. Court of Appeals judge for the District of Columbia Circuit, shortly after graduating magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
This is an honor and a testament to Annie’s skills and professionalism, and we are incredibly proud of her.
That does not, of course, mean that we won’t miss her. We wish her the best of luck in her new position.
