2018 Best Law Firms directory includes Burnette Shutt & McDaniel
Columbia, South Carolina – The just-released 2018 Best Law Firms in America lists Burnette Shutt & McDaniel as a top-tier firm in two areas of employment law.
The firm ranks in Tier 1 for the Columbia metropolitan area for its work in Litigation – Labor & Employment Law and in Employment Law – Individuals.
The new edition of Best Law Firms also recognizes Burnette Shutt & McDaniel in Litigation – ERISA; Employment Law – Management; Civil Rights Law; Employee Benefits ERISA Law; and Mediation.

Best Law Firms ranks only firms with at least one attorney included in the same year’s edition of Best Lawyers in America.
At Burnette Shutt & McDaniel, Burnette, Nekki Shutt and Janet Rhodes earned 11 honors total across several mostly employment law-related practice areas. The firm also earned two Lawyer of the Year honors: Burnette in Mediation and Shutt in Employment Law – Individuals.
All three were highlighted in Litigation – Labor & Employment Law.
