Burnette talks about Roe decision, Planned Parenthood
It’s a good day to fight the system, writer Emily Taylor observes. In her latest edition of “Hot Feminism: Letters from South Carolina,” Taylor talks to Malissa Burnette about the Supreme Court’s recent decision overturning Roe V Wade and about the importance of Planned Parenthood.
As a professor of literature and Women’s Studies at a South Carolina college, Taylor became familiar with Burnette Shutt & McDaniels’ work when Grant Burnette LeFever was her student. Taylor recently founded “Hot Feminism: Letters from South Carolina,” a newsletter addressing LGBQT and women’s issues in the South.
